Zam brings 19 years of industry expertise in the insurance, steel, co-working, and oil and gas sectors, having honed his skills in both the United Kingdom and Malaysia while working at Grimme Butcher Jones Ltd, Melewar Industrial Group Berhad, Rosegate Insurance Brokers Sdn. Bhd, CommonGround, and Ice Petroleum.

 

Prior to joining Crewstone International, Zam served as the CEO of Rosegate from 2008 until November 30th, 2019, where he played a pivotal role in developing new major accounts, marketing, structuring complex risk placements, and servicing key accounts. He also had a hand in the development of the reinsurance market portfolio.

 

In his current role as Director of Business Development, Strategy, and Proposal at Crewstone International, Zam is responsible for maintaining key stakeholder relationships and sourcing potential investment opportunities. He is also responsible for deal structuring, strategic planning, investment promotion, and public relations for the company. As a member of the Investment Committee of the Crewstone Bradbury Penjana Fund, he oversees the fund’s investments and portfolio companies, ensuring the effective management of these assets.
